Bertha's Guest Flat

Bertha's Place is a charming, fully equipped, self-catering flat in the heart of historical Stellenbosch. It sleeps one to four people. It consists of two bedrooms, a large sitting/dining room, a large kitchen with table and chairs, and with a back door, leading to a stoep and garden. The bathroom has a bath and a shower. It has a very quiet location, and there is safe parking for one car. Bedding and towels are provided. After an active day of walking, sight-seeing, driving, etc. you will find that this flat is the right place to calm down for the evening, freshening up, and enjoying an evening meal or dining out at one of the many superb restaurants in Stellenbosch. You will certainly need a good night's rest for the next days activities.

Bonne Esperance Guest Lodge

Boschendal Wine Farm

Boschendal Accommodation comprises of a number of historical cottages that have been renovated to offer guests an opportunity to experience the Boschendal way of life. Sleeps up to 6 people in the cottage and 4 people in the garden annex. Clarence Cottage is a newly renovated cottage within walking distance of the historic werf where the Boschendal restaurant and Deli are also located. Eendracht Apartments

In keeping with the established standards which you would expect from Eendracht Hotel, we have added another building 5 minutes' walk from Eendracht. The same - but totally different. The building is a 1928 listed house that was restored in its original Art Deco style. The units are semi self-catering and most have their own lounges. Two Bedroom Unit: This Art Deco unit has two bedrooms and a living room. The one room is furnished with two single beds and the other with a queen bed. Both rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers. The living room is equipped with a small kitchenette and a sleeper couch. Check in and check-out procedures will take place at Eendracht Hotel. Studio Unit: The studio unit redone in the Art Deco style is furnished with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower only. Also included in the unit is a kitchenette to prepare your own meals. Farview Cottage

Farview Cottage is situated on our smallholding in the vineyards. It has beautiful views of the Helderberg, Stellenbosch and Hottentots Holland Mountains. The cottage is newly renovated. It has two bedrooms. The main bedroom with a queen-sized bed has an ensuite with shower, basin and toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom next door has a shower, bath, basin and toilet. In the lounge there is a fireplace and a TV with DSTV and Wi-Fi. The kitchen has a breakfast bar onto the lounge and is fully equipped with gas hob, oven, extractor, large fridge, microwave and washing machine. There is a small outdoor washing line. There is a verandah with seating off the lounge in the front of the cottage with lovely views where guests normally have breakfast. A verandah at the back of the cottage looks onto a secluded garden for when the South Easter blows. There is a barbeque off the back verandah and wood is supplied. Guests are welcome to use the pool at the main house. We are situated on a short stretch of dirt road just off Winery Road 29 kilometres from the airport. 44 kms from Cape Town 17kms from Stellenbosch 9kms from Somerset West 17kms from Strand Beach. We are close to the Route 44 Market where you can take part in the Parkrun on a Saturday, as well as the Blauklippen , Lourensford and Vergenoegd markets. There are several golf courses nearby and mountain bike trails. We do not allow children under 12 as we have an unfenced swimming pool. It is a non-smoking area.

Grange Cottages @ Grangehurst Winery

Situated at Grangehurst - a specialist red wine cellar on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain about forty minutes by car from Cape Town - Grange Cottages offer an ideal base for the holidaymaker to enjoy the beauty and attractions of the Cape Winelands, the False Bay coastline and surrounding mountains. The historic town of Gordon's Bay is within fifteen to thirty minutes drive of Grangehurst. Our smaller cottage has a large airy bedroom with optional twin or double beds. The living area leads onto a large verandah, where guests can sip their sundowners gazing across miles of vineyards and up the majestic mountainside. The kitchen / dining area is well equipped with all necessary modern equipment. The bathroom has a walk in shower and bath. The larger cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen, large open plan living-dining area with a fireplace, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a walk in shower and a separate bath as well as another toilet-shower room. The kitchen and the bathroom have undertile heating. For outdoor entertainment, there is a choice of an undercover verandah and a small, leafy garden area or an open verandah with amazing views across vineyards and False Bay to Cape Point and Simon's Town, Constantia, Table Mountain, Cape Town - and even further. Both cottages have DSTV - and a large swimming pool is available to keep you cool during the warm summer months. Grange Cottages are very conveniently situated for guests to experience the interesting wineries and restaurants of the area. For guests wanting some sporting activities, there are excellent golf courses within a 10 kilometre radius, exhilarating surfing at some of the Cape's best beaches and hiking on some lovely mountains and through the nearby nature reserves. After busy days guests can relax in the cottage's tranquil environment and of course you have resident winemaker Jeremy Walker to discuss the wonderful variety of local wines. Het Logement 4 Meulstroom

Het Logement (4 Meulstroom) is an upmarket, self-catering apartment with all the comforts of home: Two double bedrooms with quality beds and fine bed linen; Lounge and dining area with TV; DSTV (small bouquet) Well equipped kitchen with washing machine; Bathroom with bath/shower. Wi-Fi Het Logement (4 Meulstroom) is one apartment in a small block of flats, called Meulstroom, which is surrounded by historical houses. It is centrally situated yet in a quiet area, five minutes' walking distance from shops, restaurants, museums, art galleries, the university and the Botanical Garden. The Eerste River, with picturesque walks along its banks, is only a stone's throw away. Across the river is the university sports complex which offers a wide variety of facilities, including a swimming pool and gym which may be used for a modest fee. Due to its close proximity to the University, Coetzenberg Sports facilities and the town center, the apartment is especially popular with University professors, visiting parents of students and athletes who come to train in the Stellenbosch. It is a very secure first floor apartment (burglar proofing and security doors) with on parking bay outside the apartment behind an electric gate. (Unfortunately no visitor parking). Kierie Kwaak

The Kierie Kwaak Self Catering cottages are situated 4 km outside Stellenbosch, which is famous for its university and historical buildings. Within a radius of 100 km one can visit the Mother City, Cape Town, Darling which all have interesting tourist attractions. Stellenbosch has excellent golf courses and is 20 km from the seaside. The cottages are situated on a farm in the beautiful, rustic Jonkershoek valley, which forms part of a World Heritage area. The cottages are within walking distance from the Assegaaibosch nature reserve and the Mountain To Ocean Forestry Reserve, which is 8 minutes drive from us. It is believed that the cottages were originally built as housing for Italian Prisoners of war who built stonewalls for gardens on the farm. During 2000 they were renovated as guest cottages. Activities in the valley are: picnicking, hiking, mountaineering, jogging, fly fishing, wine tasting, bird watching and walks in the nature reserves with their rich fynbos vegetation. Activities on the farm: Walk in the veld, bird watching and swimming in the farm pool fed by fresh water from the Stellenbosch mountain. From the veranda you have a magnificent view of the valley and mountains surrounding the valley. The cottages also have a sundeck adjacent to a mountain stream where one can relax. The two cottages are annexed to each other. No. 1 consists of one bedroom with either one single or twin beds, a fully furnished kitchen and a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing basin. No. 2 consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with bunker beds, a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing basin and a fully furnished kitchen. Bedding and towels are provided. We invite you to share our tranquil, secure and comfortable home, on a small Cape/English lifestyle farm, situated 10 minutes from historic Stellenbosch, in the Blaauwklippen valley surrounded by the majestic Stellenbosch and Helderberg mountains. Good old fashioned home from home country comfort consisting of 2 separate private suites, designed and furnished for 2 people. The beautiful natural garden with magnificent 60 year old trees, has pathways leading to a duck pond and the Blaauwklippen River, with shaded sitting areas for you to enjoy the abundant birdlife. The Garden Suite has its own driveway/carport leading into a private olive garden, overlooking a small vineyard and oak trees, with a braai and deck. The entrance to the suite is off the deck, leading into a dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, suitable for a short holiday to a long stay. The tastefully decorated bedroom consists of a sitting area with satellite television, queen size bed, and an en suite bathroom with shower. The deck with garden table and seating for four people, is built around a crab apple tree, great for sundowners, eating out and relaxing, with the accompaniment of squirrels and birdlife. The Paddock Suite with private entrance and parking under an old oak tree, has it's own garden, patio, braai overlooking the horses grazing in the paddocks. This stunning mountain-view unit can comfortably host four guests a maximum of five and comprises of two bedrooms, one bathroom (with bath and shower), and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The living area includes a build in fireplace and leads through double doors to the patio with outdoor braai to experience the lovely mountain-view with a sun-downer in hand. The main bedroom contains a double bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and the living room has a comfortable sleeper couch.
